Privacy Policy for FalorAI

FalorAI is provided by Deep-c Vision LTD ("we", "our", "us"). This policy explains what information the FalorAI app collects, how we use it, and your choices. Questions: contact@deepcvision.co.uk

Delete your FalorAI account

You can delete your FalorAI account and its data at any time.

In the app: open FalorAI, tap the gear icon (Settings), then Delete account, then DELETE.
Without the app: email contact@deepcvision.co.uk from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my FalorAI account". We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted: your account (email address, name and sign-in details), your remaining reading credits, any readings you reported and any password-reset records.

What is kept: purchase records, held by Google Play and our payment provider RevenueCat for tax and accounting purposes, and app usage statistics that don't directly identify you, which expire automatically within 14 months. FalorAI does not store your cup photos.

1. Information We Collect

a. Account information

To use FalorAI you create an account with your email address or sign in with Google. We collect:

Email address
Name (entered when you register, or from your Google account)
A user ID that links your account, credits and purchases

Your password is stored only in encrypted (hashed) form by our authentication provider, Supabase. We cannot see it.

b. Photos of your coffee cup

You take up to four photos of your coffee cup for each reading. They are sent securely to our AI provider, Anthropic, which analyses them to create your reading. If you buy a Detailed reading, the same photos are sent again for that reading. FalorAI does not store your photos. Anthropic may keep them for a limited period under its data policies and does not use them to train its models. The topic and mood you choose are sent with the photos to shape your reading.

c. Purchases

Reading credits are sold as one-time in-app purchases through Google Play. We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and keep your credits in step with them. We never receive your card or payment details.

d. Usage information

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used. It records an app-instance ID, the approximate location derived from your IP address, your device type and operating system version, and the actions you take in the app (for example, starting or completing a reading).

e. Reminders

If you ask for a reminder, it is scheduled on your device. No information is sent to us.

f. Readings you report

If you tap "Report this reading", we receive that reading's text, the reason you chose and your user ID, so we can review it. Nothing is sent unless you report a reading.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and sign you in

To verify purchases and keep track of your reading credits
To send password-reset codes when you ask for one
To review readings you report and keep readings safe and appropriate
To understand how the app is used and improve it
To answer your support requests

3. Data Retention

Account information: kept until you delete your account.
Cup photos: not stored by FalorAI; our AI provider may keep them for a limited period.
Reported readings: kept until reviewed, and deleted when you delete your account.
Purchase records: kept by Google Play and RevenueCat as required for tax and accounting.
Usage statistics: kept for up to 14 months.

4. Service Providers

We use these companies to run FalorAI. They process data only to provide their service to us:

Supabase: accounts, sign-in and data storage
Anthropic: creating readings from your photos
RevenueCat: purchase verification
Google (Firebase Analytics and Google Sign-In): usage statistics and sign-in
Resend: sending password-reset emails

Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with the service providers listed above, as needed to run the app, and when required by law.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your account data is restricted to your own signed-in account. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Children

FalorAI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

See and update your account information in the app
Delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account) or as described in "Delete your FalorAI account" above
Contact us at contact@deepcvision.co.uk with any privacy question or request

If you are in the UK or the EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
